IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CURRENT 7TH GRADERS
All students enrolled in 7th grade (even during virtual learning) must have the following immunizations:
Booster dose of TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)
Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV or MenACWY)
North Carolina immunization rules require these vaccines for entry into 7th grade or by age 12.
Please contact your child’s primary care provider or the local health department now to obtain these REQUIRED immunizations for your child. Send the vaccine record to the school nurse. If your child has already received the TDaP and MCV/MenACWY, please make sure the school nurse has the record. Failure of not completing by the deadline will exclude your child from attending school until the record is received. If you have questions, please contact our school nurse.
